The Renaissance Post-Acute Unit is designed for guests whose goal is to return home or to a higher level of functioning.
These guests have complex medical conditions that no longer require acute hospitalization, but still need intensive therapy by highly specialized personnel. The clinical therapy services are appropriate for individuals disabled from a variety of conditions including trauma, stroke, chronic pain, amputation, hip and knee replacement and other disabling diseases. When the guest is admitted to the Post-Acute Unit, we immediately assess the individual and begin the rehabilitation process.
Rehabilitation is provided by licensed therapists who are specially trained to assist each guest. Through the combined efforts of our therapists, physicians, nurses, along with our guest and their family, we develop an individualized therapy program designed to help each guest reach their goals.
The Renaissance at Westland consists of post-acute rehabilitation programs that guarantee positive guest outcomes. Whatever your journey encompasses, our highly qualified rehabilitation personnel will help you reach your goal.
In order to plan a safe and secure transition to home, we will visit the guest’s residence to assess the prior environment. After the move home, we keep in touch with the guest and the family to determine if follow up assistance is needed.
